Mish·mash

Ok, I know. Probably too early for a second post but who cares?

So, I went for a haircut today. I drove all the way to Mid Valley Megamall and then headed to this one saloon called Jantzen (haha Jantzen). Anyway, I have always hated haircuts but then when my hair grows all long and disgusting and styling my hair takes more than 3 minutes, I would much rather go get a haircut. (And to anyone who does not believe I only take 2 minutes to do my hair, I really do okay? In fact, I will make a video to show you. Complete with a timer...next time)

Okay, anyway, I go to Jantzen and ask for this guy called Treeki (haha Treeki). Oh it is his real name believe it or not but he is a very nice guy. He was the guy who first cut my hair when I decided to give Jantzen a try and it turned out pretty well. But today was different. It was very very different.

So, I walk into the saloon, led by this chinese(really chinese) woman who shows me to a chair.(right, nothing strange there) And then Treeki(haha Treeki) comes and asks me how I would like my hair. So I tell him the same thing I told him the first time I came (I actually had it typed in my phone because I am so anal..It is deleted now because I realised how weird that was).

I said, "Same style, I just want my hair shorter. I want it to last 3 months before I come back" (BIG mistake). You see, I usually would say 2 months but to be honest I wanted to get my money's worth so I said 3 months which means MUCH shorter hair. And yup, you guessed it. I look stupid. Nah see!

Also, they didn't give me tea like they used to. But it's alright I don't drink the tea they give me anyway because I have this theory that they recycle undrank tea. I mean what is not possible anymore?

Actually I don't really care that I look stupid with my new haircut. Hair grows and shorter hair means less shampoo which means less money spent on shampoo which means bagus. I also realised I am much less vain than I was before. Because, I would have been really mad if this happened 2 years ago.

and so ends the very interesting haircut story. (thanks Ju, that was enriching)

I actually titled this post mish-mash because I have lots of totally unrelated things to type about. The second thing I want to blog about is the PE5-ian gathering (my college classmates finally meet up! woohoo). To make the story telling easier I will post pictures and caption them according to the sequence of events that happened 2 days ago.

#1

We went to Zen Cafe in Sunway Pyramid first and ordered the cheapest thing we could find - RM9.90 set meal(black pepper chicken with rice and salad complete with ice lemon tea for Brian, Sheen and I whereas Rachel had tea with a chocolate brownie I think. Dim arrived late and didn't order anything). (we are all cheapskates)

#2

A self timed photograph that caught everyone off- guard.. except me because I expected Dim(the photographer) to just click on the button without setting it to 'self timer' mode. So clever.

#3

We then went to Taylor's to visit the lecturers. Ah, the smell of A levels in the classrooms.. No, really..

#4

And we then saw Ms Esther, who could not remember any of our names. Right Ash..I mean Dim?

#5

Mr Murali. The same old Mr Murali :)

#6

Mr Seo with THE rock. Boy do we love Mr Seo.

#7

I like this picture despite the blurness. (Brian : turn around and smile people!)

#8

Up the stairs in search of the other lecturers which we failed to find.

#9

The cafeteria ( I think it is getting a little bit boring at this point right? )

#10 #11 #12

Bubble tea, weirdos, RM8 burger with nothing but the burger bun and a chicken breast (Wendy, this is almost extortion!)

#13

BBQ Plaza. Yes, I am aware I have a tummy. I think it's cute.

#14

mmmm

#15 #16

Gotta love everyone's expression

#17

And then, the highlight of the day, DJ Jon's birthday! who's DJ Jon you ask? WHO'S DJ FUCKING JON?!!....we do not know haha

#18 #19

And finally went to Sheen's place and watched Camp Rock. (No, really we really are 20)
I swear Camp Rock killed a little part of me. It was THAT bad.

and so concludes the very awesome day out..

PS: I find it very funny when meeting up with lecturers. Funny as in weird not the HAHA kind. It's just because there is hardly anything you can say to a lecturer. Ms Esther was clearly uncomfortable but tried to strike conversation nonetheless. Mr Murali kept the conversation alive by telling us the profanity that is working life. And Mr Seo, well it was like talking to any other friend with the occasional uncomfortable silence. Mrs Lim and Mr Mohan had apparently left.. Oh well, there is always next time.

I wanted to start copying What The Buck and give comment questions but Dim, you're right. Who am I to give comment questions?

Comment Question of the day: Should I give comment questions to keep this blog interactive? (not like there are a lot of you reading also..LOL..but if you are, answer please..)

alsy, heylow, a comment question is a question asked, that people can answer to, in the comment section; a comment question :) Thanks for the feedback
